FOB FACTORY
Inspired by vintage clothing, F.O.B FACTORY is based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, one of Japan's leading production centers. They oversee all processes in Japan, aiming to create clothes that customers will appreciate three years after purchase.
Japan's Oldest "Phantom Power Loom"
This power loom allows for extremely low-tension warp weaving, dubbed the "phantom power loom." It is the oldest operating loom in Japan, with only a few units remaining, requiring artisan adjustments due to years of experience.
Created with G3, this 14oz selvedge denim features a distinctive "unevenness" and "rough texture" on the surface, almost indistinguishable from vintage denim. Despite its hefty weight, the fabric is soft, akin to handwoven textiles, thanks to the slow weaving of the warp threads. With a one-wash treatment, it offers a comfortable fit from the first wear.
Maintaining Vintage Details
The front includes pleats for a three-dimensional chest fit and flap pockets symmetrically placed on both sides.
Additionally, it features side adjusters with tack buttons to adjust the waist fit while wearing.
Leather patches on the neck, American-made steel buttons, and copper rivets are all original brand designs.
The selvedge, commonly known as "red ears," which is an indispensable feature of vintage clothing, is also noteworthy.
By employing "rolled stitching" for the sewing of the main parts, the puckering appears and the appearance is outstanding, as well as the strength.
A Blend of Vintage and Contemporary Elements
The slightly wider body width and precisely tailored length create a balanced silhouette that pairs well with various items.
It complements trendier styles with wide pants or more formal styles with slim-fit pants.
